These tournaments are special opportunities for remote Tibetans to not only connect with each other, but with the rest of the world.

The top nomadic and monk teams from around the Kanlho Tibetan Autonomous region and beyond are invited to participate, with games, clinics, meals, and the chance to play alongside foreign teams and overseas Tibetans.

This is also a special opportunity for the young nomadic girls and women in these Tibetan grasslands to be introduced to participating in sports and basketball. Offered will be introductory lessons and clinics, as well as some of the first women’s basketball tournaments in the region.
